I am a certified Nutritionist.
I believe with nutritionists as much as with any other 'consultants' you are using to improve a part of your life (medical professionals, psychologist, lawyers, designers etc.), their professional qualification is as important as how you feel about them.
If you like the consultant, you find them interesting and trustworthy and they make you feel good, then the relationship has a much better chance to have good results.
Therefore, I would like to introduce myself a bit more. I think it is only fair to tell you some things about me. Not just about my professional qualification, but also how I got where I am and what you can expect of me as a person.
I studied at Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health College and got certified in 2018 with BTEC Advanced Diploma in Nutrition and Health Coaching.
In addition to that, during years 2017 and 2018, I have done several courses:
Nutrition and Lifestyle in Pregnancy created by Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU)
Child Nutrition and Cooking created by Stanford University
Stanford Introduction to Food and Health Stanford University
I have listed the education at the beginning, because I believe it is very important as a basis. However, I also think that you can attend and graduate from the best schools in the world and not be very good at what you are doing. I believe being passionate and enthusiastic about your profession is a key to being successful.
I keep educating myself all the time. I read a lot and I actually enjoy reading about nutrition, food and how our bodies work. So in a way, it is a pleasure and work in one for me.
How did I get my certification?
What can you expect of me?
First and foremost: No judgement. Whatever your situation is, wherever your eating habits are, I will listen to your problems and try my best to help you. No one is perfect, we all make mistakes, we all do stuff which we actually know we shouldnt and that is normal and ok.
I had my ups and downs when it comes to my body image. I wasn't always at the good healthy weight range for my body type - I had periods in my life which were very wrong on both ends of the scale. I understand it is not an easy journey especially if your weight is something you have been struggling with for a long time.
I also deeply understand how frustrating it is when you feel like the food you are consuming is not helping you strive. When the food which is supposed to fuel your body is hurting you. And how complicated and confusing it can be to try to find your way through all the internet ‘knowledge’ yourself.
I believe that nutrition and dieting isn't actually all that complicated at the end. We live in a funny world when it comes to food. I read somewhere that because people are less and less religious, food became their religion… Our eating habits and nutrition got so complicated over the last decades. I strongly believe there is a natural normal diet for us as humans and if you follow that - taking in consideration your personal conditions - you cannot go wrong.
If we work together, I will not teach you how to count calories, I will not give you a strict diet plan and I will not force you into something that is not natural for you. Food should be a pleasure for us. And at the end of the day, it is all about moderation.
The end result should be always be health and happiness.

I am married to the best man in the Universe - I really won the lottery there and I am very grateful for him and us.
We have the smartest and cutest little two years old son - I might be a bit biased there.
We also have the most beautiful dog you have ever seen, his name is Kaabo, he has about 70kg and he is the best - I again might be a bit biased here.
I loooove chocolate, spending time outside, camping, reading.
And I am not a fashionista - I literally wear the same black top (I have about 6 of them, not even in different colours, all black) and either shorts or leggins everyday.
